We visited Cyprus in Summer 2010 to look at possible venues for our reception. We visited a couple of places but were immediately taken with Romantica's intimate surroundings, Bambo's friendliness and helpful and honest disposition. We placed a small deposit knowing we had made the right choice.
We returned in April 2011. We met with Bambo to finalise the reception arrangements (menu, seating plan, table decorations - some of which we provided and Bambo worked with our ideas, budget, wine etc!). Bambo was very helpful and we felt confident and happy to leave the hard work to him and his lovely staff! (Bambo still had the same staff working for him, which in our eyes, speaks volumes.)

We married on the 21st April 2011 and our day was simply wonderful! Bambos and his staff had made the restaurant look beautiful, the staff were warm, friendly, ready to please and provided an excellent service. The food was superb and enjoyed by all of our guests.

Our day was made all the more memorable and special because of Bambos and his staff! We thoroughly recommend Romantica as a place to hold your wedding reception (or to eat out), you will not be disappointed!

Joe and I got married in Cyprus on the 14th April 2011, our wedding co-ordinator had reccommended Romantica Restaurant to us and we are so pleased that she did!
Bambos and his team could not have been friendlier, from the moment we arrived at the initial meeting we received the Cypriot friendliness that makes you feel like you have known them for years! Bambos answered our many questions and adapted things to suit our needs. He arranged the room, chair covers, balloons, favours etc and we were astonished with what we saw when our wedding day arrived!
The food (although lots of it, we had a Meze!) was delicious, the staff could not do enough for you and the whole atmospehere was just perfect!
Joe and I can not reccommed Romantica enough, we had the most amazing wedding, thank you Bambos and all your staff!

Me and my wife had our wedding reception at the Romantica restaurant on 6th May 2011.
We can not thank Bambos and his team enough for what they did for us. From start to finish it was perfect. Bambos the owner is a legend and will now be a family friend forever. He went the extra mile for us in every direction. At 2am in the mornin when the lads all wanted cigars, Bambos jumped in his car and 10min later returned with enough cigars for every1. The food and service was amazing the best we had all holiday, so much so we all returned a few times during the holiday, were Bambos constantly went out of his way for us. THANK YOU BAMBOS UR A LEGEND.

Hi bambo I'd just like to drop a note and a big thank you to yourself and the team for making mine and Rebecca s wedding so special . We have nothing but praise for the attention to detail that you went to and the quality of the wedding reception held there on the 31 st of may 2011 . As I'm in the trade myself I think it goes a long way to say that we were both over the moon with our special day thanks again fond memories MATT and Rebecca HULMES .

We visited Paphos in april 2010 to look at possible venues for our wedding reception Romantica was at the top of our list we looked no further. From the moment we walked in to leaving we knew this was where we wanted our reception. We got married in Paphos town hall on 25th May 2011 then on to Romantica for a fantastic reception. Bambos and his whole team gave us a reception to remember. All the little touches add up to a very professional service.
Bambos you are a genius in the kitchen and your staff are a credit to you. Its easy to see why people choose your place for their wedding receptions and why people return year in year out just for an enjoyable evening out, when we are next in Cyprus we will be back to see you.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to you and all your staff for making our wedding reception an evening to remember. We had our reception on the 03.06.11 after our ceremony at our hotel and I can honestly say all my guests had a fantastic time. The food was outstanding and we all left feeling very very full. Your staff were very attentive and from the moment we met you before the wedding to when we left I felt as though you made us feel like family.

The dancers were fabulous also and helped make the evening

I will certainly recommend your restaurant to anyone getting married in Paphos and wanting a reception venue, and if we come back to Cyprus I will make a point of coming back to see you.

The food was excellent, all the guests commented on how good it was. We had the meze for the starter and it was amazing there was so much food to choose from. Everyone that works there was so helpful and really do their best to help make the day special and as easy as possible for you.

We have just returned home to the UK and I wanted to post a note as soon as possible to say how overjoyed we were with the service we received from you all. If anyone were looking for a wedding reception venue we would without a doubt recommend your restaurant. The service we received was second to none. After a few emails to Bambos we met him upon our arrival in Cyprus and he talked us through all the details for our big day, nothing was left out and nothing was too much trouble! Bambos's help was all the more appreciated as we were organising our wedding independently so he even helped us to find a bakery who would make us a cake.
On the big day the tables were laid beautifully, the food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. Our party had the meze as we were looking for something traditional and it was so plentyful many of us were defeated before the end. All our guests commented on what a wonderful time they had.
If you are looking for a reception venue then we cant recommend The Romantica highly enough, they will look after you and your guests to the highest standard.
We will without doubt return.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Bambos and his staff, we had our reception at the Romantica on the 17th of August 2011 and would highly recommend it!
We found the Romantica via the internet and emailed Bambos for details, we received answers very quickly and decided we had found our venue. We were happy with the menus and were surprised that we would have a private room, as other places didn't offer this, we sent a cheque as a deposit and booked our date.
When we arrived in Cyprus we visited the Restaurant and were immediately impressed with the friendly staff, good service and lovely food. We then met with Bambos the next day to go through details and pass on the extras we had bought for the table which Bambos set up for us on the day. All in all it was a brilliant end to our day and we couldn't have wished for any better!
We will definitely be returning to the Romantica when we are back in Cyprus!

Well, where do we start?! First of all my husband and I would like to say a massive thank you to Bambos and his team for making our wedding day so special. Craig and I were married on 19th August 2011 but we first met Bambos in February when we went over to arrange our wedding. Straight away we fell in love with the restaurant, what they could offer us for the wedding day and of course... Bambos!! Honestly, this man is so genuine and will always go the extra mile, which made our experience even better than we expected. After the wedding we were treated to a free meal and given lifts back to our hotel when we met to finalise arrangements for the big day. For our wedding meal we opted for the meze which was absolutely gorgeous, a beautiful feast of local food, cooked to perfection! We took our own bits and bobs to decorate the table but was set up just as we wanted. The room looked beautiful! The room was perfect, fully air conditioned, private and accommodated 55 people comfortably. The staff were extremely attentive and made every effort to get to know us, on the day and the times we popped in during the holiday.

If anyone is thinking of having a wedding reception at Romantica it's a must!! You're missing out if you don't!

TO BAMBOS AND HIS STAFF

I would like to start be firstly thanking bambos and his staff for all there help and service they gave us on our wedding day on august 16 th 2011,everything we wished for and wanted bambos catered for he is so genuine and makes you feel at ease by telling you he will do everything to make your day right....and boy he did.
We met bambos a few days before to discuss a few final things and on the day the room was stunning from the decoration of balloons,tables,seat covers and the room itself overlooking the sea and fantastic air conditiong,we couldnt have asked for any better it really was beautifully done,all of our guests family and friends loved it and not only was that good but the food was fantastic all guests commenting how good it was and how we,d found the place the choice of food and service was amazing and the service throughout was first class,they even put on music so we could have our dance and played music after and they are happy for you to stay until you want ,if anybody is thinking of booking a venue in paphos ...dont look anywhere else id be more than happy to send you pictures of our day and answer any questions for you (dazz20@btinternet.com).
Bambos knows he has a good reputation with people for weddings and its thoroughly deserved you will certainly not be let down this was more than we could have hoped for ,it really was a perfect setting to complete our day and has given us memories that we wont forget ,we will be returning to paphos and will spend an evening in here visiting bambos and the staff once again...a trully ,truly great place for your wedding reception.
