Really don't know where to start !!! You gave my sister in law and her husband an outstanding wedding reception for all of the 56 guests !!! It was only booked the week before but nothing was too much trouble and they came away from meeting you confident that everything would be fantastic !!
The restaurant is in a lovely location, right opposite the beach and from the moment the guests arrived we were made to feel so welcome!!

The food was divine, plenty of it ( it just kept coming and coming ) and everyone was talking about it for days after ! Big compliments to the chef ! The service you and your team provided was outstanding, no rushing, nothing was too much trouble and the bride and groom definitely had reason to be proud !!!

For anyone looking to hold a reception in Paphos and uncertain about where to hold it, I speak on behalf of 56 guests and recommend Romantica 110 % !!

BIG THANK YOU GUYS , YOU KNOCK SPOTS OFF ANY UK RECEPTION ! My only regret is that we didn't have time to come back and visit you for a meal before we came home x

To Bambos and all the staff at Romantica,

What can we say except thank you SO much for a fantastic day!!! We had 16 adults and 2 children at our wedding, and everyone had a ball! The kids were given bubbles on arrival and that just made their day! The champagne reception was lovely. The canopes were fantastic - everyone still raving about the chicken!

The meal will never be forgotten...the 14 starters were amazing, even for those who are not adventurous - there was something for everyone (I loved them all!!!). the main course was beautiful (I had the steak - cooked to perfection. Dad had lamb and he said it was out of this world!). I cant say enough about the food, it was just 1st class.
In general, the restaurant is in a great location - in town across street from sea. The staff are so helpful, the environment is just perfect - they are all like one big family, and cant do enough for you. Whatever you want, they will get it for you!! I would advise anyone to have their reception at romantica - it is perfect.

Thank you so much for a perfect day and for making it it so relaxed. Also thank you Bambos for the lovely wedding gift. It is now sitting on our coffee table at home. We are hoping to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary with yourselves next year already....  All our love, Claire and John Trainor Armagh, N. Ireland

We would just like to thank you for the wonderful wedding reception you did for our daughter Kelly and Josh on the 18th May 2010.   Everything was perfect from start to finish as you said it would be.

Your staff were so attentive, nothing was to much trouble they are a credit to you.  The food was out of this world so much choice and the tables were laid out lovely we didn't feel we were being rushed and everything was done just as we wanted it. From the time we arrived to the time we went home you made us feel special so thank you very much for a lovely day, we will recommend you to anyone who will listen.   thanks again

Hello Bambos and all the team at Romantica

Hope everyone is well.

My husband and I got married over in Paphos on the 12th May last year and we are returning to celebrate our first anniversary in Paphos next month.

After our ceremony we returned with our 15 guests to your restaurant for our fantastic wedding meal which can I say, was exceptional!

Why we wanted to email you was we would like to celebrate our first anniversary on the 12th May at you restaurant and would love for you and your staff to make it as special the second time, as you did the first time for us.

To Bambos & all the staff at the Romantica,
We had our wedding reception here on Monday 10th May 2010, and had a wonderful time. Thank you very much to all the staff at the Romantica for making the day so special for us. It was lovely to enjoy the wedding toast, looking out over the sea.

The service was excellent, and you were very accommodating and welcoming to us and our guests.  The food was superb, and gave us all a real authentic taste of Cypriot food. We would definitely return to the Romantica again when we next visit Paphos, and I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone thinking of a holding a wedding reception in Paphos.

Hi Bambos,

Thanks again for what you did on Monday for me and Lisa, We had a wonderful reception and as promised.

Bambos and his team was fantastic in making our wedding day so special, He was open to all of our suggestions and offered his advice when required. This all culminated in an amazing reception which, was intimate, tasteful, picturesque and most of all tailored to our party.

The Food was amazing and nobody left disappointed, I would certainly recommend Bambos and his team for any wedding party, Once again thanks so much for making our day so special, and hopefully we will see you next year!!!. Love from Mr. and Mrs. Bray"

Thanks Bambos, We are hopefully coming back to the island next year, as i said on the wedding day, we really had to get sorted in order to get back to the UK, you and your team was excellent and it was all me and Lisa could have asked for.  Thanks again.

To everyone at the Romantica Restaurant.

We had our wedding reception at the Romantica Restaurant on Wednesday 7th April 2010. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! The food and service was exceptional. The various choices of menus were unreal, our guests could not believe the choices of starter, main courses and desserts, not to mention the huge portion sizes! Our guests are still talking about the fabulous meal we had.

Everything was perfection and that was all thanks to Bambos and his team. They worked closely with us to get everything exactly how we wanted and it totally exceeded our expectations - they made us feel very special and gave us and our guests a very memorable wedding day. We can thoroughly recommend Romantica Restaurant and hope to be back very soon to visit. Thanks again to Bambos and the team for making us so welcome and looking after us all so well - you made our day for us!!

I had my daughters wedding on the 3rd of August 09 and had the reception at the Romanatica restaurant and the service and food was second to none. This is the best place for service food etc they made the place look lovely and made a real effort and made it all the more special. Best place in and around Cyprus. My family also went there on other occasions and found the service etc the same always great and with a smile on there faces and happy to serve you always.

My husband and I got married at Agia Kyriaki and then had our reception at Romantica on Monday 3rd August 2009. I just want to say how brilliant our day was, with many thanks to Bambos and his staff. They made our special day so much better. We met at the restaurant a few days before our big day and all the finer details were discussed, which took a huge weight off our minds, everything possible was discussed, we had chosen a menu from the website, but decided to alter it a little to suit all our guests, and this was no problem, anything that we wanted.  The food was absolutely wonderful, no faults whatsoever. All of our 25 guests (kids and adults) said how delicious the food was. This was brilliant, as it did not come with a huge price tag as one would expect with quality.  The room was just perfect, we had a lovely table lay out, and there was plenty space. It was also air-conditioned, which was great in the summer heat, it kept everyone cool. The staff were all so very nice to us all, nothing was any trouble to them. From the moment we arrived we were fully catered for, we decided to provide our guests with a welcome drink, which was ready when we arrived, and also the cake was set up on a nice table, ready to be cut, and great for the photographs. We even had a first dance, which was completely unexpected, I didn’t think we would get that getting married abroad.  I cannot fault Romantica in any aspect, and if I had to chose again, after being there (we booked without going to Paphos) I would chose there again. And definitely recommend to anyone else who is undecided.  Thank you all so much. Will see you again when we come back to Paphos.  PS my mum also says thank you to you all too for all your help on her birthday and our wedding day.   Vicky and Paul

We had our wedding reception at Romantica on 26th June and it was fantastic - we would recommend here to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding reception. Bambos, Nemi and the rest of the staff were all lovely and very attentive throughout the whole evening. We met up with Bambos before the day and he spent plenty of time with us going through the menus (which there is plenty of choice, and very reasonably priced), and also the timings for cutting the cake / sitting down for our meal / keeping the drinks flowing for our guests etc. We had some kids and vegetarians in our group who were all catered for.

There was 23 of us and we had a room to ourselves, which they had decorated with balloons, sprinkles for the tables, chair covers etc. There was space for a dance floor so we could have our first dance, and then our guests were all up dancing for the rest of the night - was good fun and a nice relaxed atmosphere. There is a bar area next to the room if you want to go and sit and have a drink, and you aren't around the other diners in the restaurant. All our guests commented on how lovely the food was - the meze starters were fantastic.

The staff put a lot of effort into making sure we all had a good time and it definitely made our wedding day memorable :) Thanks to everyone involved - we will be visiting the restaurant again when we are back in Paphos!

Ryan and I were married in Paphos on the 11th June 2009 and we had our wedding reception for 29 Guests, 22 adults and 7 children at the Romantica.  From the moment we arrived in Paphos our every need was met by Alison, our wedding co-coordinator and Bambos, the owner of Romantica. We both felt reassured and totally at ease after we had our initial meet the day after our arrival.

After a beautiful ceremony in the garden's at Geriskipou, we arrived at the Romantica to a very refreshing fruit punch, which was a big success with all our guests especially after being in the midday heat of Cyprus. The service was fantastic and the food was out of this world, My brother is a chef and he was totally blown away by the Mousakka, the best he has ever tasted!!!  I would really recommend the Meze starter and definantly the chocolate cake.....gorgeous.

We returned there a couple more times during our honeymoon and Bambos and his staff were always pleased to see us. We will be returning to the Romantica for our 1st anniversary so Bambos can cook our dinner.
The day was perfect and so much more so because of the very warm welcome we received at Romatica, We would highly recommend Romantica to anyone wishing to get married in Paphos.

Lisa and I were married at Peyia Town Hall on 2nd June last year; our wedding in Cyprus was perfect in every way, from the ceremony, the location, the afternoon reception on a yacht, to the reception at Romantica.
We would like to add a special message about Romantica Restaurant as it really was the perfect end to a perfect day. We only had a small wedding party of close family, Lisa and I, our four parents, and Lisa's sister and her fiance, with their 1 year old daughter. Despite us having a small party, Romantica had a corner of the restaurant cordoned off for us, and the table was decorated beautifully. The service was amazing, and we genuinely felt like we were the only people in the restaurant. We went back a couple more times during our honeymoon as the restaurant, its staff, the food, and the atmosphere are beyond compare.
Bambos (the owner... and the chef!) told us that he also organises weddings; if we'd known, we'd definitely have used his service. Even though we hadn't used his service, he helped us massively, as local knowledge is all important. Thomas Cook's wedding coordinator was excellent, but we could only start the ball rolling with arrangements once we arrived... they wouldn't even give us her number before we arrived in Cyprus, so it was a little stressful for the first couple of days, with so much to do in a short time. If we'd have used a local service like Bambos' we'd have had the major organisation done before we arrived.
For anyone looking to be married in Pafos, I'd recommend Romantica as a venue for a reception, and would definitely have arranged our wedding with them too if I'd known what I know now!
